Wild horses

Happy Wednesday y'all!

This morning we woke up and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise in Corolla, NC. Before driving the beach to see if we could find the infamous wild horses of Corolla Beach. Trust me plenty of coffee was in hand!!!☕

As our truck made its way across the rivets and bumps of the sand, my kids were in the back seat full of giggles. There eyes lighting up as if seeing fireworks for the very first time. They were having a blast, even though its was 630am on a vacation day.😴

My husband took it one step further when he saw a puddle on a back road and decided to cross it to splash the water to make the girls laugh even harder. As we sunk about 4.5ft into the sand hole water flew over the truck like a tidal wave. We were all laughing and in shock. Clearly not realizing how deep it was..... Was that the best decision, Probably not lol. But it was fun and no one was hurt and we didn't tear up anything. So, you only live once I guess🤷‍♀️

Full on knowing before we set out, that many people voyage out to see the horses with no luck.. we were prepared for that possibility. However before we knew it we were face to face (50ft away) from the gorgeous wild horses that roam the dunes and island of Corolla. Its was magical. Something not everyone has the privilege to see.🐎

I, like my girls was giddy. Like a 5 year old on Christmas morning.

Feeling blessed and in awe of these beautiful horses. I fully embraced the moment and Jesus for allowing me to share these memories with my family.

"Remember to appreciate the little things, because one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things"

I wish you all a glorious day. Remember, take the time to be thankful❤
