Hey y'all,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with the ones you love. Sharing the reason for the season with your family. Teaching your children what the true meaning of Christmas is all about.
I know that we read the book of Luke each night leading up to Christmas, and then on Christmas eve we read a book called "The Christmas story" about the birth of Jesus. I love seeing my children so engaged about how special the day truly is.
This year has been nothing short of a combination of anxiety, stress, worries and fears. But in the midst of it all isnt it nice to know that God is still working in our lives. We have our children, families, a roof over our head and food in our bellies. How lucky are we to have a God that loves us and provides for us, even in times of trial and fear. A God that through the darkness still shows us light.
I pray for an end to this pandemic, a more peaceful 2021 and that you all have a wonderful new year, full of peace, love and health. I pray that we can all go back to a better "normal" than we ever had. Being more grateful for the things that we may have taken advantage of prior to this mess. Stay safe, stay faithful and never stop praying. For he is always working, listening and shifting things in our lives we may not even know yet.
