Hey y'all,
Looks like in our little corner of the world, most students will return to school this week or next. What does school look like where you are?
Our family being a homeschool family makes me feel so grateful and blessed.. For not only this time with my kids, But more importantly the safety it brings. Be it through a pandemic like covid, or the craziness you here about in the news in schools around the world and everything in between.
Homeschool to me is so much more than teaching at home, or the ability for a more flexible schedule. Its peace of mind, family time, security, bringing Jesus into the heart of your school day, its showing my children that they come first and instilling values in them before outside sources teach them different.
Homeschool, is running around outside and taking field trips on sunny days. It's teaching my children to interact with more than just classmates their age but of all ages. How to hold conversations with adults and children alike, how to think outside the box.
As children start to return back to school, whether for good or perhaps not (depending on covid) I am so thankful that God has put this journey on my heart and allowed me not only the freedom to make it happen but the love and passion to see it through!
Everyone has their personal reasons for public school, private school, unschooling, homeschooling and every other school you can think of. This just happens to be out story and our journey!
It just so happens to be a pretty great one♡
