Hey y'all,
So, today I took my girls to a winter wonderland of a store. It snows every 4 minutes y'all, no joke! Every year when we go there it just reiterates why it's one of my happy places.
My kids run through there hitting every possible space. From engraved ornaments, the toy shop, Christmas village, the train that goes around the entirety of the store, a gorgeous fountain, fudge shop and more..Did I mention an enormous singing clock.. you'd have to see it to appreciate it.
So while my girls glide through the store taking in absolutely everything they can . All while Giggling and smiling from ear to ear. It absolutely made my day!!! Might I add we were there for more than 2 hours.
Lets rewind a minute....A few days ago I decided to start decorating the inside of our home. Just a little, nothing over kill. Givong us something wonderful to think about and look forward to.. who doesn't need some of that this year?
So, after an afternoon of Christmas music, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, hot cocoa, fudge, build-a-bears workshop, mistletoe scented candles and SNOW! How could I not come home and start decorating outside.
Our nativity set is out, our pillars are rapped with evergreen garland and we have poinsettias placed strategically in our mums. Yes, I just can't let go of the mums yet lol. Basically I have a bipolar porch hahaha.
I am in such an amazing mood, all from a little decorating. Isnt it amazing how something so little can totally change your day, your week or even your world around.
So tonight I'm going to enjoy a blessed evening as I hear the giggles from my kiddos in the next room, the beautiful glow of my Christmas lights, the smell of my homemade chili flowing from the kitchen, while I cuddle up with my dog watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Life is so good!
Be grateful y'all♡
