Motivational Monday

Learning to love your body can be hard, yet wonderfully powerful!

The number on the scale doesn't define you. It’s not the size of your jeans, or how successful you are. Your children will not remember last fall when you were 150 and this summer when you're 165 trust me. What they will remember is how their mom was always happy, Always confident in her own skin. And you know what? They will soon become that person themselves. For children absorb everything!!!!! They are like little adorable sponges.

I have been known to always be behind the camera. Taking hundreds if not thousands of pictures of my kids. Capturing every possible moment. (Yes I may have a problem lol).....Though, looking back how many of them am I actually in? Ok, well my head may be in them, but my body somehow magically manages to stay clear of any photo lenz within 100 miles lol.... My scale controlled so much of my joy, and so many of my disappointments. That I didn't like to be in the spotlight of anything. Be it crowds, outings with friends or even pictures.

The reality is, when you become ok with your flaws, when you start loving what society considers to be flaws. Those flaws don’t control you as much anymore.

Be comfortable with the powerful, amazing and wonderful mama that you are.

Wear what you feel happy in, Eat the cake, take a million silly pictures with your kiddos and LIVE!
