Good morning friends!
So how many of y'all have a "class mascot" aka pet lol.
Because after all kids, being a homeschool teacher, a wife, a maid, a cook, a nurse and so on...adding some pets to our zoo just seemed appropriate!
With that being said we have two dogs Fenway Bark (Go sox!) and Bindi after Bindi Irwin (my daughters fav!)
Fenway is a 4 year old Black lab and the most chill dog on the planet, a 90lb lap dog! Who is so lazy he just cuddles all day long.
Then there is Bindi our 9 month old sheltidoodle. She has more energy in her floppy little ear than I have in my whole body.
Her favorite hobbies include. Chewing my shoes, my couch throw pillows and just about anything else she can sink her little teeth into. Along with jumping on her brother Fenways back and riding him piggy back until he's driven nuts! Oh did I mention jumping from couch to couch in the livingroom until she wears herself out enough to fall asleep across the whole length of the couch leaving us to all sit on the other. Because heaven forbid we wake the beast🤣
But hey, zoo life comes with its perks. Who doesn't love coming home to tail wags and greetings at the door. Or the unconditional love they give? Who doesn't love their 90lb dog taking up half of their bed? Dogs are my peopel!!!
Both of our dogs are rescues. One a foster fail because I was too much of a dog mama to give her up. And the other we got from a deploying soldier. Oh these crazy pups had me the second we met. It was love at first slobbery kiss🐾
Anyone else have any dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs, snakes, birds, etc. That they just can't live without making their already busy household that much more fun?
I spend so much time talking about my kiddos and homeschool life. I had to brag on our class pets for a day lol.
So for now excuse me, I have some coffee and snuggles to get back to♡
