Happy Friday y'all!
I am so glad that it's Friday, it has been a loooong week!
Do any of you have any fun plans for this upcoming weekend?
We hope to get to the zoo♡
I have been sitting here for the last half hour or so trying to put together the lesson plans for next week.
I know it's challenging at times, but I have to admit. I actually really enjoy it. Just me, my lesson book...usually just sitting on the floor with some coffee and a million books scattered around me.
Time to think, time to reflect on the highs and lows of the week.
Occasionally my kids come in and try to help or ask their 20 questions they already knew the anwser to. You know, "moms wheres my basketball", "hey mom can I have another snack", "Mom what time is it"....lol
But hey, all I can do is laugh. Laugh at the fact that it's ok. I one day will wake up and miss spending an hour making the "perfect" lesson plan. Or the 20 questions they ask. Or the hours spent together at school. Or playing outside or on adventures.... One day hopefully 20 years from now lol they will be grown with their own families.
I intend on savoring every question, even the ridiculous ones. I hope to enjoy every one of our lessons, adventures and field trips along the way.
I know how blessed I am. As I sit here with my coffee in hand and the sound of my girls playing in the next room.
What a great life we are blessed with, when we slow down enough to appreciate it♡
